The Prospect Hill Foundation stands in solidarity with communities of color, and with all who are protesting the profound injustices of systemic racism.
At this deeply painful moment in our country’s history, we bear witness to the power of the people, and the influence of social justice groups across the United States, and the entire world. We support peaceful demonstrations, oppose violence and call for the protection of the rights of journalists.
We stand for love, healing, human dignity and respect. We denounce systemic racism, discrimination, police brutality and state violence that has resulted in so much suffering for citizens and immigrants.
Through our grantmaking, we are committed to supporting community-led organizations in communities of color that work with youth and families most directly impacted by the consequences of structural and systemic racism. We are committed to funding for equity and justice for Black lives. And we hope – however painful this time and this long history of injustice might be – that this is the moment when change will happen.
